With the release of iTunes 11.0.3, users gain a number of widely welcomed new features, including a much improved MiniPlayer.

After years of stagnation, Apple’s ubiquitous desktop media app is once again a moving target. With the release of iTunes 11.0.3, users have gained a number of widely welcomed new features, including an improved MiniPlayer which once again offers a progress bar and now displays album art.

— New MiniPlayer: Now includes a beautiful new view that showcases your album artwork. In addition, a progress bar is now built right into MiniPlayer
— Improved Songs View: You can now enjoy your album artwork while in Songs view
— Multi-Disc Albums: Albums with multiple discs now appear as a single album
— Provides performance improvements when searching and sorting large iTunes libraries
— Also available for Windows 64-bit

If you’re not seeing album art when in iTunes 11.0.3’s updated song view, then go to iTunes > View > Show View Options and click Show Artwork.
