Whether you want to get rid Apple's standard

Just get a new iPad or perhaps you’ve had one for years already? Whether you want to get rid Apple’s standard “Sent from my iPad” or make it say something more, now is a good to change your iPad mail Signature.

It is a pretty straight forward operation:

1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Signature

2. To remove the standard “Sent from my iPad,” tap and hold one of the words and then release and choose “Select All” and tap “Cut.”

3. And, then start typing.

As you can see in the image above, you also have the option of creating mail signatures for all accounts or individual sigs for each account.

For what it’s worth, the above method works for any iPhone, iPod touch and/or iPad.

Do you have an especially prosaic, poetic or just plain pungent iPad mail signature? Share it and your inspiration, as applicable, in the comments section below…
