Whereas Cupertino began shipping Lightning-equipped iThings last Fall, peripheral makers have been cautious in rolling out compatible devices. Today, however, SDI Technologies introduced three iHome alarm radio docks featuring Apple’s insurgent 8-pin Lightning connector.

The two new shipping models are the iDL45a ($99) and iPL10 ($79), while the $149 iDL100 is expected in early July.

• iDL45 — Alarm-clock speaker with FM tuner, Lightning connector and USB port.

• iPL10 — A smaller, less expensive version of the iDL45

• iDL100 — Dock with stereo FM clock radio with two Lightning docks and one USB port.
— Also features clock auto syncing and dual weekday/weekend alarms, as well as FM presets and EQ controls.

Naturally, the Apple-certified USB port can be used for either an 8-pin Lightning or 30-pin legacy connector, which is a powerful bit of flexibility.

Get free shipping on iHome orders of $60 or more. A range of iHome models are available on Amazon, though the above new products weren’t listed when this went to press.
