Once upon a time, SimCity Mac and PC were to ship on the same date. Then there was a delay, but the PC version slipped out in March and EA promised the rest of us a June 11 release. Scratch that. Sim City Mac has now been pushed back until August.

Hi, Mayors – today we are announcing that we are moving the release date of the Mac version of SimCity to August. When this long and hotly anticipated game finally does ship, SimCity Mac buyers will get both the Mac and PC versions. Interestingly, existing PC buyers will also be able download the Mac version for free when available.
