With folks mulling over every facet of Jony Ive's iOS 7 redesign, little wonder that a change in the Apple Support Downloads page layout lead to headlines

Apple keeps a pretty tight lid on information. That said, with people noting and mulling over every facet of Jony Ive’s iOS 7 redesign, little wonder then that a change in the layout of the Apple Support Downloads page would generate chatter.

Yes, let the heralds proclaim it, the Apple Support Downloads page has a different look — gone is the list view, replaced with a tiled appearance not unlike Safari’s Top Sites design.

Additionally, clicking the “Browse by Product” button and up pops this navigational element, which is borrowed from Apple.com’s /mac, /ipad and /ipod pages.
