Shoot RAW and have a new prosumer and/or DSLR camera? Then you need Apple’s Digital Camera RAW 4.08, which adds some of the latest cameras from Fujifilm, Leica, Nikon and Sony.

— This update adds RAW image compatibility for the following cameras to Aperture 3 and iPhoto ’11: Canon EOS 70D, Fujifilm X-M1, Leica M, Leica M Monochrom, Nikon COOLPIX P330, Pentax 645D, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II

Digital Hub Done?

Apple’s digital hub strategy was hugely successful. Yet 12 years on, the iLife app suite continues to melt away — iDVD is moribund and iWeb is dead.

Of the iLife apps that live on — iMove, GarageBand and iPhoto — Apple hasn’t delivered a major update since 2001.
