iTunes visualizers go all the way back to the original Classic OS version of the app released 2001. Aside from an updated default visualizer in 2008, Apple hasn’t given this feature a lot love. However, fresh G-Force and Aeon updates underscore the fact that Andy O’Meara’s SoundSpectrum now carries the iTunes visualizer torch.

G-Force 5.1 (download) and Aeon 3.5 (download) are now available and feature an all-new track info animation, a major overhaul in Winamp support, UI enhancements, and performance enhancements.

Our newest update to G-Force is a major step forward in graphic display and customization! We’ve kept our ever-popular G-Force Toolbar application, updated with new configurable options. But now you may access even more features with an extremely comprehensive new on-screen menu, giving you full control over your G-Force experience! — SoundSpectrum

That said, the company is offering a 20 percent discount on G-Force, Aeon, Whitecap and Softskies platinum, which offer enhanced controls, graphics and support — get one or get them all for $24 each.
