What’s the news? It is time, once again, to download and install an Apple app update. iPhoto 9.5.1 is a modest in size (55MB) and scope update that promises to fix print preview, as well as other unidentified issues.

• iPhoto 9.5.1 (MAS, $14.99)
— Fixes an issue that could cause print previews to render incorrectly
— Includes stability and performance improvements

This particular update was somewhat unexpected while OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 is still missing in action — could drop any day now.
