Have you stopped using certain apps since installing OS X Mavericks? My list includes Google Chrome and Boom (audio enhancer). With that in mind, know that Apple has pushed a fresh Mavericks update beta to developers — here comes OS X 10.9.1 upon which many hopes ride.

OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 13B40
— Improved support for Gmail in OS X Mail, and fixes for users with custom Gmail settings
— Improves reliability of Smart Mailboxes and search in Mail
— Fixes an issue that prevented contact groups from working properly in Mail
— Resolves an issue that prevented VoiceOver from speaking sentences that contain emoji
— Updates Shared Link periodically when open in the Safari Sidebar

Developer testing focus areas remain unchanged — Safari, Mail, Graphics Drivers and VoiceOver.

One item has been dropped since the previous beta — “Improves compatibility of the VPN server in OS X Server” — though that specific fix very well might be covered by the server version of OS X 10.9.1.

On a related note, Apple didn’t push a fresh seed of Safari 6.1.1 (Lion, Mountain Lion) this round.

OS X 10.9.1 13B40 is available to registered developers on the Apple Developer website.

What fixes, tweaks and/or features are you hoping Apple delivers in this or a future Mavericks update?
