Whatever else this Mavericks update developer seed (aka OS X 10.9.2 13C44) is it is big, tipping the scales at over 1.9GB. The previous seed [build 13C39] arrived just a week ago and it is perhaps reasonable to assume that a public release isn’t far off.

The previous developer seed of this Mavericks update, OS X 10.9.2 Beta 2, includes the ability to block people in Messages and FaceTime Audio.

As the Fairer Platform previously reported, OS X 10.9.2 includes a large number of updated graphic drivers. Apple is asking testers to focus on Mail, Messages, Graphics Drivers, VoiceOver, VPN and SMB2.

Apple has also posted Safari 6.1.2 Seed 2 for OS X Mountain Lion and OS X Lion to developers to download and test. This update is thought bring security and bug fixes.

Safari 7.0.2 is bundled with OS X 10.9.2 and it is also believed to contain security and bug fixes.
