This update is specifically for people who purchased an iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c in China. Moreover, iOS 7.0.5 addresses a single issue — networking provisioning — on those models.

• iOS 7.0.5
— Corrects network provisioning for some iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c models sold in China.

An interesting twist? iOS 7.0.5 is available over 30 languages, which is probably not a level of detail that either Google or Microsoft would uphold.

Coming in iOS 7.1

For iOS 7.1 beta, this is an off week for Apple’s developers as fresh seeds have been arriving about every two weeks with the last, Beta 4, seeded on January 20.

That said, it seems safe to assume that iOS 7.1 Beta 5 will arrive next week. Additionally, it’s believed that Apple plans to release six developer betas overall and release final code to public in early March.

Chuck in a gold master dev release and that puts us into March — pure speculation.

iOS 7.1 is expected to deliver numerous bug fixes as well as user interface tweaks and new features, including updated slick-to-unlock, less flat/monotone UI design, improved keyboard and iOS in the Car functionality.

Is March too long to wait?
