FCC Speed Test, a consumer app for collecting broadband metrics, is now available of iPhone and iPad

If dissatisfaction is the mother of change, data is mother’s milk. That said, FCC Speed Test, a consumer app for collecting broadband metrics, is now available of iPhone and iPad.

An ongoing nationwide performance study of broadband service in the United States, the Measuring Broadband America program developed out of a recommendation by the National Broadband Plan to improve the availability of information for consumers about their broadband service — Measuring Broadband America website, FCC.

FCC Speed Test (free) isn’t pretty image above), but is functional and one of the ways you can monitor and report your ISP’s, both fixed broadband and mobile, performance metrics.
