OS X 10.9.3 13D55 is available to paid-in-full developers and those public beta tester folks have yet to get a sniff

Last week, it was very much looking like the next Mavericks update was just about ready for release and then Apple opened a pubic beta testing program. Sigh. Here in the present, OS X 10.9.3 13D55 is available to paid-in-full developers and those public beta tester folks have yet to get a sniff.

OS X 10.9.3 13D55 and other recent beta seeds include iTunes 11.1.6b5 (ie iPhone sync) and Safari 7.0.3 (9537.75.14), which was released as a stand alone update some weeks back. Those apps remain unchanged in this dev release.

On the new feature front, OS X 10.9.3 brings support for pixel doubling scaling (ie Retina) output model for late-2013 MacBook Pro with Retina Display models. Apple has also added support for high frame rate QuickTime and QuickLook slow-motion playback.

Mmm, scrubilicious!

Yadda, yadda, yadda… What beautiful new, tweaked or fixed things are you seeing in OS X 10.9.3? Sound off in the comments below…
