Apple's iTunes 11.2.1 Update is the fix for the OS X 10.9.3 missing Users folder problem, neither Terminal nor AppleScript required.

After installing OS X 10.9.3, some number of users have “seen” the Users folder in their Home directory disappear. Apple’s iTunes 11.2.1 Update is the fix for the missing Users folder problem, neither Terminal nor AppleScript required.

Well, if Terminal and/or AppleScript are used, Apple’s missing Users folder fix doesn’t require any interaction on your part.

And, if your Users folder was actually “missing” (still there, just not visible), after installing iTunes 11.2.1 Update it will be missing no more.

Does iTunes 11.2.1 Update do anything else? I have no idea.
