People are pretty much focussed on OS X 10.10 Yosemite and iOS 8 right now. However, Apple’s still prepping interim updates for Mavericks and iOS 7. In pursuit thereof, the mothership has seeded OS X 10.9.4 13E19 and iOS 7.1.2 11D257 betas.

That said, there isn’t one heckuva, actually, not even a quarter heckuva new in OS X 10.9.4 13E19, at least visible to the naked eye. Apple is still asking devs to focus their testing on Graphics Drivers, Bluetooth, Audio Drivers, Finder, App Store and Safari.

Additionally, Apple has provided this build of OS 10.9.4 to its Apple Seed program members for testing.

For its part, iOS 7.1.2 11D257 is said to be equally boring with fixes for Mail, Lock Screen and iBeacon issues, though release could be just around the corner.

To that end, Apple has asked its carrier partners to sign off on iOS 7.1.2 by next weekend.
