Apple Back to School: $50, $100 Gift Card with Mac, iPad or iPhone Purchase
And, by “off,” we mean that Apple will “give” a $100, $50 or $50 Apple Store gift card when you (aka student, teacher, administrator and/or parent) purchase a Mac, iPad or iPhone, respectively. Sound like a good Back to School deal? You could certainly do worse.
Here is the spin from the mothership…
We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2014 Back to School promotion. With the purchase of a qualifying Mac, customers will receive a $100 Apple Store gift card. Or if they buy a qualifying iPad and/or qualifying iPhone, customers will receive a $50 Apple Store Gift Card.
Yes, boys and girls, it’s once again that time of year — Apple’s annual Back to School promotion has begun and runs through September 9, 2014. Here’s a quick listing of the offers and links:
— Apple Back to School Landing Page: Buy a Mac, iPad or iPhone for college and get an Apple Store gift card. Only at the Apple Store for Education
— Buy a Mac for college and get $100 Apple Store gift card. Only at the Apple Store for Education.
— Buy an iPad for college and get a $50 Apple Store gift card. Only at the Apple Store for Education.
— Buy an iPhone for college and get a $50 Apple Store gift card. Only at the Apple Store for Education.
These offers are valid only for “a college student, a student accepted to a college, a parent buying for a college student, or a faculty or staff member from any grade level,” which sounds tighter than previous years though it’s uncertain if that will have any practical impact who gets to take advantage.
Of course, this offer is valid only at the Apple Store, brink n’ mortar or online (ie no third-party resellers).
Let us know if you have trouble getting the education discount or the Back to School Apple Store gift card.
What happens on Tuesday, September 9? A fair bet is that Apple will announce if not ship new iPhones on or about that date, very much like last year…
