How often does this come up — how does one type the Apple logo on a Mac? So infrequently that I had not only forgotten the keyboard shortcut, but also spaced where to find the Apple logo on OS X’s integrated Character Viewer.

To type the Apple logo on your Mac’s keyboard, use this keyboard shortcut: Option+Shift+K.

Look…  it works.

Afraid you’re going to forget that? Try book marking this webpage, where you can always find an Apple logo () or three to copy and then paste.

So how do you type the Apple logo on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad? Fundamentally, you can’t.

However, you can bookmark this webpage and/or Add to Home Screen, where you can copy and then paste the Apple logo. Or, you can visit http://mrgan.com/gb/ where you will find (above) the “Glyphboard,” which you should “Add to Homescreen” — move to a convenient folder later.

A simpler way is this keyboard shortcut: “option/alt 1″.
    I’ll do it here ➯ .Voilá!
Andif you want a string of logos just keep pressing key 1.
    …
I didn’t test it on iPhone or iPad but I believe it should have the
    same result.
    Hope this is useful.

On iOS add it as a keyboard shortcut. Copy and paste the logo from this page and set some kind of shortcut, I’ve chosen “alogo” which results in: 

    Voilah!

With a bluetooth keyboard you can use the same shortcut (Option+Shift+K) in iOS too.

In response to Bill and “rocr89″:

The shortcut Bill mentions works but (there’s always a but) depends on the language defined for

the Keyboard. So,for some enhancement of my previous comment here goes a short list of the

different options in various languages. The options work with both USB and

    Bluetooth keyboards:

    French/Portuguese  Option+1

    US/British/US International-PC/Canadian English/Portuguese(Brasil)  Option+Shift+K

    German  Option+Shift+ +

    Spanish/Italian  Option+Shift+8

    Spanish ISO  Option+G
