Apple said that their new insanely thin 21-inch iMac would arrive in November and they’re just going to make that deadline with Friday, November 30 delivery, though to lay hands on one you will need to be at an Apple Store or ‘select retailer.’ That said, one wonders just how many units will be available on the day the 2012 iMac didn’t arrive late.
Our favorite fruit company has announced that the 21-inch versions of the 2012 iMac will be available on November 30. Yes, boys and girls, that’s Friday and the very, very last day of the month.
However, Apple isn’t taking online orders until Friday, which means if you want one on the day and date it ships you will have to get one in-store.
Interestingly enough, Apple didn’t include a executive quote praising the insanely great qualities of this insanely thin (5mm at the edge) all-in-one desktop computer. Apparently, no one — not Tim Cook, Jony Ive, Phil Schiller or even the nice lady that empties the trash at night — was available for comment.
Apple is saying that pre-orders for the 27-inch iMac will start Friday will reiterating that it will begin shipping in December — one hopes that doesn’t mean New Year’s Eve…
