OS X 10.8.3 12D58 Seeded

Reliable canine informants report that Apple has seeded OS X 10.8.3 12D58 to developers, the third beta release of this Mountain Lion incremental update in as many weeks, an indication that a public release could be imminent. With iOS 6.1 Golden Master in testing and an iTunes Connect shutdown coming this weekend, reasonable folks wonder if there might be a relationship.

Knowledgeable canines say that little is known about this latest incremental Mountain Lion update beta other than that OS X 10.8.3 12D58 arrives with no known issues and that testing should focus on AirPlay, AirPort, Game Center, Graphics Drivers and Safari.

Scruffy notes that the 12D54 build didn’t resolve ongoing graphic driver issues, a bur in the fur for many devs — begin abated dog breath.

Yes, lady and lad developer folk, iOS 6.1 Golden Master is said to be testing and iTunes Connect maintenance scheduled for Saturday, January 26. Chuck in an OS X 10.8.3 update that’s nearly ready and, well, who wouldn’t wonder if something’s going on…

The spice, the worm(s); is there a relationship?

This report compiled from notes provided by Scruffy the Feature Retriever, who is known to read AppleInsider and MacRumors.
