When Apple hired John Browett to run Apple retail, people were openly critical of the move. Following a series of public missteps, Browett was fired. Now, Apple’s hired Kevin Lynch, who pimped Flash for Adobe, as its VP of technology — what could go wrong?
Hiring Kevin Lynch was a bad idea if for no other reason than the boneheaded things he did at Adobe in an effort to convince/force Apple to allow Flash on the iPhone. Moreover, Lynch didn’t just manage underlings in this assault on Apple and, frankly, reason — he played a very public role in Adobe’s doomed to fail effort.
Worse? He did at least some of those boneheaded things on tape and the proof is available on YouTube for the world see and scorn.
MythHackers? Epic hubris and Lynch isn’t some faceless name in the end credits, he played a starring role capped with a beret.
The guy was and, as far as anyone out here in reality can tell, is still a bozo. He publicly mocked Apple by, among other things, destroying an iPhone in a blender and now Apple has hired him?
Tim Cook, for the love of Jobs, what the heck were you thinking…
