It came upon a Friday evening weary. Apple has emailed developers to say that large chunks of the Apple Developer Website are back online. Yes, lad and lady devs, thar’ be certificates, identifiers, profiles and downloads available again.
After eight days, most Apple Developer Website services have been restored and that’s for both iOS and Mac developers.
Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles Now Available
We appreciate your patience as we work to bring our developer services back online. Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, software downloads, and other developer services are now available. If you would like to know the availability of a particular system, visit our status page.
If your program membership expired or is set to expire during this downtime, it will be extended and your app will remain on the App Store. If you have any other concerns about your account, please contact us.
Thank you for bearing with us while we bring these important systems back online. We will continue to update you on our progress.
As you can see in the image above, eight services are still unavailable and Apple isn’t offering guidance on when they’ll be back. Further whereas OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 4 was seeded to devs on time this week, iOS 7 Beta 4 is still absent without leave.
Nevertheless, developers near and far are undoubtedly celebrating the restoration of the services that are — hats off to the Apple Developer Website team — back online…
What’s your take?
