GOG Celebrates 5 Years, Adds Mac Games Section

9 January 2014 44 views No Comment

GOG.com, once known as “Good Old Games,” is celebrating five successful years of marketing and selling older Windows and Mac games. So, got an old Mac? GOG is THE place for legacy Mac games and, on the whole, prices are reasonable.

Here’s a fifth anniversary message from the GOG guys…

As a new year begins, and with five very successful years in the digital gaming market, GOG.com takes a look at its past. Join CD Projekt’s Marcin Iwiński, Guillaume Rambourg, our Managing Director, and Piotr Karwowski, our Creative Director (both of them core members of the GOG.com team who were with us for years), as they talk about the company’s history, the concept behind it, and the best (and one not very good) ideas in our history.

And, here’s a quick sample of what’s available in the GOG Mac Games section: Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri, Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings, Witcher: Enhanced Edition, Master of Orion, System Shock, SimCity 2000 Special Edition, Dungeon Keeper Gold, FTL: Faster Than Light, Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition and scores more.

Obviously, GOG carries more than a few PowerMac Mac games.

Good stuff, good old games…
