Apple Patches Poodle SSL in Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion

Poodle, would a rat dog, often really big ones, by any other name be less psychotic? The world’s Secure Socket Layer (SSL) problems* just won’t stay fixed and Mac security is affected. Apple has issued a Poodle patch for OS X Mavericks and OS X Mountain Lion that rolls forward September’s previous Bash Update.

The company’s just released OS X Yosemite includes Poodle and Bash security patches.

Earlier this year, Apple addressed the “go to fail” SSL bug* with the release of OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks.
