Bokeh Wallpapers For Your Yosemite, Retina Macs

Regular Fairer Platform readers know we’re big fans of Mac wallpapers — space, nature, holidays, you name it. That said, one of the richest veins of Mac wallpaper beautification is Bokeh wallpapers, a style that’s both artistic and, to my eye, very relaxing.

Czech Mac has a nice little collection of Boken wallpapers (sample above), all zipped up and ready to download. These images are super hi-res, starting at 4311 x 2874 and larger, making them perfect for Apple’s upcoming Retina iMacs.

What Is Bokeh?

In photography, bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has been defined as “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light” — Wikipedia
