When OS X Yosemite shipped last month, Apple include five high resolution Yosemite wallpapers, which is nice but hardly a collection. Happily enough because Yosemite was a national park first, there are many, many hi-res Yosemite wallpapers available — here’s where to get a bunch o’ 2K or better Yosemite wallpapers!
First, if you aren’t running OS X Yosemite, then you don’t have the five free Yosemite wallpapers gave away with that desktop Mac operating system update — download them here.
One of the nicest “small” private Yosemite wallpaper collections was captured and presented by Wasim Muklashy — here’re the three above images zipped and ready for your convenience.
However, he has more and some are size for iThings.
Of the more original Yosemite wallpaper compositions is deviantart’s Rekkert. Unfortunately, he only did one on the topic, though happily enough he’s something of a Trek geek.
Of course, deviantart itself is packed with good Yosemite stuff.
You know how most Mac wallpaper sites are chock full o’ the same old, seen’em’all’b’fore Yosemite wallpapers? Wallpaper Up has fairly uniquely lensed pics. Need a second look? The top image is also from Wallpaper Up.
Yosemite Wallpaper: Don’t Forget Sam!
Last and definitely far from least, here is a trio of Yosemite Sam themed wallpapers. Yes, they are a bit lower res, but well worth a little pixelation just be in the presence of the rootin’ tootin’est Looney Toon ever.
Of course, if it’s Looney Toons you want, then EaseUS on deviantart is your friend…
