First of all, this beta carries build number 14B17 and is a delta update, weighing a rather anemic 310MB. In terms of issues addressed, Apple is asking developers to focus their testing on WiFi, Exchange accounts in Mail and Notification Center.
That said, according to at least one MacRumors forum poster, this very first Yosemite update beta has solved his WiFi and Handoff issues.
Perhaps the question of the week is whether or not OS X 10.10.1 will include a fix for the Rootpipe vulnerability. News or rumors, anyone?
Dev guys and gals can get this Yosemite update beta, OS X 10.10.1, via the Mac App Store’s update function or, with a little patience, whence Apple releases for direct download on the Apple Mac Dev Site.
