Cord Cutter: Amazon Prime Video Adds Miramax

13 July 2013 627 views No Comment

Are you a cord cutter? Thinking about it? One of the most popular streaming options, Amazon Prime Video, has gotten a little more tempting — you can now watch scores of Miramax Films, like Pulp Fiction and The English Patient, at no additional cost.

Other new to Prime Video Miramax films include Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, Life Is Beautiful, The English Patient, Kill Bill, Amélie, Reservoir Dogs and Trainspotting — all number among IMDB’s Top 250 Movies of All Time.

And, the punchline with Amazon Prime is this. You get two-day shipping on Prime items, instant access to Kindle Books and instant streaming of movies & TV shows for $75 per year.

Whereas pay forever TV is fundamentally evil, Amazone Prime Video is something else and quite a bargain.

Prime Video: Now Streaming

Prime Video plays on a very nice selection of devices, including Apple iThings (Mac, iPad, iPhone and iPod touch), as well as the Roku, Kindle, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Sadly, Prime Video doesn’t play on the Apple TV. However, if you would like to see that change, be sure to tell Apple you’d like to see Prime Video on your Apple TV — sometimes, complaining works…

What’s your take?
