You love Trek and you have a Mac, here’s yet another way to bring them together — screensavers. Actually, I should say “more” screensavers, because the Fairer Platform is kind of obsessed with this kind of eye candy. The three titles on offer today — Federation, Klingon and Starfleet Medical — from Night Owl Software are basic in the extreme, featuring simply a rotating logo and sound effects.

And, don’t miss System 47, a reboot of a much loved LCARS-styled screensaver which hadn’t been updated since 2006 that’s now Snow Leopard compatible.
