Hyperspace (download) is a screensaver for Snow Leopard and Lion that simulates what it might be like to travel at speeds faster than light. Whether you call it warp, ridiculous, hyper or whatever speed, it’s best experienced on an empty stomach.

Matrix Reloaded GL (download) isn’t the best cascading alpha-numeric character screensaver I’ve ever seen, but it’s pretty neat and very free. It’s open source and there are versions also available for Windows, Linux, BSD, and many other Unix based operating systems.
